He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bob Knapp; a sister, Lois Biehl; two brothers, Robert Knapp and Billy (Janice) Knapp; three sons-in-law, John Burds, Ken Ries and Mike Maddigan.
Surviving are his children: Dorothy "Lee" (Jon) Budar-Danoff, of Columbia, MD, Valerie "Lacie" (Tom) Peckosh, of Dubuque, IA, Lillian (Gary) Budar-Krukoski, of Kingman, AZ, and Ramona "Jamie" (Kevin) Sergent, of Honolulu, HI; nine grandchildren, Noelani, Gilman, and Daniel Budar-Danoff, Emily, Carolyn, Jacquelyn, and T. Peckosh, and Nani and Kenzie Sergent; and a sister, Bonnie Branch, of Florence, MA. Mc Dermott, 95, of rural Bernard, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Shady Rest Care Center in Cascade.
He is also survived by his cherished feline companion "Pussy Kat." He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Richard (Eve) Budar Jr, two sisters, Valjeanne and Dorothy, and a brother-in-law, Chuck Branch.
